Hey Dinni,

Your blog is really detailed and it covers good media stories ghat students would be interested in.

Im gonna talk bout the article about the MeDIa DeGree.. People all have different opnions about media. SOme people belive that media is extremely easy and that abybody could do it, But being a Media student myself i dont thinks its as easy as people see it. Doing media is not just watching films and reading newspapers. Its about society and how people interpretate the media. I personally think having a media degree is good it shows you have a good knowledge about what is going on :D xXx

Hey Dinzzzzz

I like the template of your blog it looks good. You're always up to date with the homework and have interesting articles up

I'll talk about the first post.. the live birth one. I think its awful how people allow such a thing. Giving birth should be personal and emotive not something you can let the whole world watch. But if the woman and her family give permission who are we to stop her, maybe she just wants to get famous or something who knows!

Heyy dinnii,

I think your blog is really refreshing as u have chosen a template no one else has, which makes a nice change. The topics you have chosen are very interesting.

Live Birth

To some extent i agree with sherish although i think that couples who are expeting their first child are new to tihs experience therefore by showing this will allow them to expect things. It EDUCATES us, especially men who think giving birth is so easy lol after watching this they might learn a few things! lol yes it is a emotional and personal experience although if ur willing to broadcast it to everyone who are willing to learn and watch it.. then thats ok. at the end of the day.. its all about educating people.

Hey Dinz,

Your blog is really good, lots of information and a good range of atricles selected

Im going to talk about your recent article, the big brother one. I think it's really interesting how important reality TV has become in the media. And its ironic that ITV are considering a bid with the recent decline in their realtiy show X-Factor. In my opinion, its vital to Channel 4 to keep the rights to Big Brother and not allow ITV to secure them because otherwise they could find themselves in a big problem as they've lost the rights to US series 'LOST' and if Big B is lost ratings are likely to decline instantly

heloo dinveer,

I like your blog, its very colourful and is also quite detailed. The articles you also have up are also interesting.

Im going to talk about the big brother article. reality tv is getting so big and is aslo very popluar with audiences as it targets everyone in the market. A show like big brother has been a success in the last few years and i agree with your opinion that channel 4 should keep it as it always increases viewing figures. Itv probably want the rights of big b as the viewing figures of the x factor are decresing. x

hey dinni
your blog is really detailed and you put effort in to all ur pieces of work. the template is gd and you have interesting articles.

live birth
i think watching live birth is dirty, but it does educate people. and for some who are having their first baby, they can learn lots and get a clear idea of what it feels like lol also i think its wierd that someone would want to show themselves doing something like this in front of millons of people watching at home.

hey dins

your blog is reli detailed and looks sophisticaed :)

im gona chat abt the article abt the media defree, people have alot of people have negative views on media, being a media student my self i have 2 say that its not a very hard subject n i think thats got more 2 do with the fact that you study it because you enjoy it and not cos you think its gona make you a doctor or something. The media has so much power and control over us so why is it so criticised? within media u learn abt theorists and acdemics and all sorts.. it combines so much (shep) into one interesting course.

Hiya Dinnii,

Firstly, your blog looks really detailed whcih will help you to understand certain issues and debates in the media... it also looks very pretty.

The story I am going to speak about is the Big Brother Bid one. It is quite amazing how the deadline price has gone up from £40- £70. The programme does generate a lot and being that the prices for t has gone up is not surprising. If people, are willing to view this programme then why not pay for more eyyy... loll
Take care x x

Heyy SoNi :)

Your blog looks very structured and well presented and your wide range of articles have been good and interesting choices...

I want to talk about the live birth article.
Personally, the idea of live birth doesn't really appeal to me. This should be one of the most personal and intimate moments of a womans life and doesn't need to be broadcasted - especially on live tv. Although it was her own personal choice and her descision so whatever but stilll...

Hello Dinni,

Your blog is very well organised with headings where you also have put in relevant comments to your chosen story of the week. Overall, your blog is well presented.

Well Done

The story I have chosen to comment on is "Having a Digital Media Player for institutions such as BBC and ITV. My views on this are that these channels will make a lot of many in doing this. Live shows will also be shown on this new digital media player, which will increase audience viewings. A downfall to this is that the product that they are selling must be affordable and meet the standards of the target audience.

Hey Dinni,
I like your blog as there are interesting ariticles to read.

The most shocking was the live birth as the thought of a live birth broadcasted on tv is not normal. The fact that someone had to agree to it also is not normal. The only advantage i can think of is for the pregnant female women that need educating on how it may look and feel...... erhh

Hey!

Your blog is looking interesting. Its really well organised and you can tell uyouput loads of hard work in it.

I'm going to talk about the Big brother bid. Big Brother has been a massive reality TV show on Channel 4 and it is understandable how Endemol are increasing the fee from £40m to £70m. I don't think ITV should take over the show because Channel 4 is know for its good documentaries and reality TV shows so it should stay with Channel 4. Also, Channel 4 probably relies on BB to increase its ratings every summer so Channel 4 are better of paying the £30m extra if it means its ratings would ever more so increase annually.

Yo, nice blog, very professional looking, with some interesting ideas.

I don't think a moral panic will be created from Big Brother switching on to ITV (lol). It won't be that drastic of a change, I do agree with the fact that it should be on channel 4, although its not a life changing ordeal.
